What personal information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. Through the contact form on this website, that is:
- Your name
- Your business name (optional)
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The type of work you are interested in
- Anything you write in the message field
- The date and time your enquiry was received
If you contact us directly by email or telephone instead, we hold whatever information you include in that message.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Why we collect it and how we use it
Your information is used solely to read, understand and respond to your enquiry, to discuss a possible project, and to provide services if we go on to work together.
Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to any marketing list. We do not send newsletters or promotional emails, and we never sell or share your information for marketing purposes.
Lawful basis for processing
Under the UK GDPR we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to respond to enquiries sent to us — it is in both your interest and ours that we can reply to you. Where an enquiry leads to a project, we rely on performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) to deliver the services agreed with you, and on legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) where records must be kept for tax or accounting purposes.
How your information is stored
Enquiries submitted through the website are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stored in a private database that only Momo Naked Design can access. Correspondence by email is stored in our email account.
Third-party services we use
We keep third parties to a minimum. The services actually involved are:
- Lovable — hosting for this website and the database that stores contact-form enquiries.
- Google (Gmail) — our email account, used when you email us or when we reply to your enquiry.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this site are requested from Google’s font servers, which means your browser’s IP address is visible to Google when the fonts load. No cookies are set by this.
These providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Where we work together, project correspondence and records are kept for the duration of the project and for up to 6 years afterwards, to meet UK tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your information is used
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Ask for your information to be deleted
- Ask us to restrict how we use your information
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Request your information in a portable format, where applicable
To exercise any of these rights, email momoitaliandesign@gmail.com telling us what you would like us to do. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and we may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date. See also our Cookie Policy and Terms of Service.
